Not a Video

Sorry, I have had limited internet access the last couple of days. Since the last post, we went to Vegas and now we are in Newport Beach, CA. Heading to LA tomorrow. But since I have limited internet access, I thought I would post a picture that Fran took while we were in Bryce, Utah. I think it looks really cool. Kinda a "Muro Jon Fiore" blog for tonight. But again, when I get back, I will post some more videos...

Mission Not Impossible

We're still treking along. Got into Zion last night and we're staying at The Desert Pearl. We were shocked at how nice this place was. (Video #1, a walking tour). We woke up this morning and drove to Bryce to check out the Bryce National Park. It was so amazing. (Video #2 is our drive through a huge tunnel they built in Zion on our way to Bryce. Have volume on for this one) Takes about 3:21 minutes to drive through. So if you choose to except the mission, watch the video. I hit high speeds in the tunnel. I'm talking like 31 MPH. Crazy I know.

We're loving the Southwest so much I decided to become a cowboy. (Picture #1)

Oh being a cowboy an all, I had a run in with the law on the trip and got locked up in jail. Thank god Fran had her NY State Unemployment debit card and was able to bail me out. You can see how happy I was to get out. (Picture #2)

Grand Canyon...

Keeping up with this blog has been tough because we are jumping from place to place. Sometimes with no cell and internet. So, I decided I will skip Albuquerque, Santa Fe, 4 Corners and Monument Valley and show you the Grand Canyon. Not that those places weren't great, I just don't have the time now. When I get back, I will do a "Recap" week with more photos and more videos. So here I am at the Grand Canyon. I broke my personal rule of not showing myself in a picture on the blog. The other pic is of Fran and I (Shadowed). One video is while we were walking down the Canyon. You will notice it is the same section where I am standing in front of te "Do Not Enter" sign. The other video is a good panoramic of the whole canyon. The video doesn't do it justiced. It is so big and large, actually it is "Grand." Tomorrow I will show you Zion. Just got here about an hour ago. The rock formation is amazing and we are staying in this amazing room. (Will show you video of that tomorrow)

On The Road Again...

As the sun set we left Sedona and headed to Albuquerque. Here's a little taste of the road.

Just got to Albuquerque tonight. Think we are going hiking in the morning through some mountains.

TITANIC

Internet has been tough on the trip so that is why I haven't updated. Here is some video of the Titanic Museum Fran's friends own. It's huge. Weren't allowed to take photos inside, so this is the exterior. During the first video I shot instead of playing "Where is Waldo", let's play, "Where is Fran?" I'll try to update some more tonight. In Sedona now...

Branson, Missouri

We're in Branson, Missouri now. Got here yesterday. Had a quick tour of the Titanic museum yesterday(More behind the scenes), but will walk through like tourist today. Video to come... But Fran and I are staying at Mary and John's home. Fran and Mary worked together at Disney. When we arrived, they gave us the royal treatment. We have our own private suite and an amazing view. Check out the video. It's of Fran enjoying the view and her wine. The picture is from the main part of the house. Would be great to have breakfast with that view every morning.

Road Trip Begins...Take a look.

Ok, it technically started off in the air and not on the road. Actually, we took a cab to the airport so it is a road trip. How about, "Our Adventure Across America?" But here are a few videos so far. First, the takeoff from ATL to Memphis. Then the baby that sat near us on the plane. Yes, the chances of this being a miserable flight was there, see how the baby actually was. Then the third video is from Beale street in downtown Memphis. You decide. It says three things. Can you guess which two are my favorite things? More to come...

PS. The Elvis Museum was such a scam. $27 each just to see his house. We opted out of that and just took pics around the gift shop area. The picture above is of his house as we drove by. That was actually FREE. The other pic is from a bar we had $1 drafts from on Beale Street. Yes, $1 drafts!!!!

Road Trip Begins...

As many of you know, starting this morning at 6am my road trip with Fran begins. We fly to Elvis land, I mean Memphis and continue on to the Southwest. Eventually, we will end up in LA. I will attempt to post along the way with the many great places we see. Hopefully some comedy comes out of some of locations. From what I have researched, I know we will at least see some beautiful places. But for now, the blog is on hiatus. Please check in throughout the next 3 weeks. You never know what you'll see. Stay tuned...

Sleeping With The Fishes

Today my brother Matt celebrates his birthday. Which got me thinking about fishing. Why? Well when I was about 10 years old, I received a fishing pole for Christmas. Loved it and couldn't wait until the summer to roll around to go fishing. Well, when Matt went to test it out the day I got it and see how flexible it was, he snapped it right in half in half. Which brings me to today's post.

Ever watch Bill Dance's Fishing show? Most likely the answer is no. I have seen some stuff online and I love this guy. He has a low budget show on Versus which use to be the Outdoor Life Network. By the looks of some of these bloopers, he spends most of his budget replacing cameras and fishing poles. I'm posting two of them today since I missed the Two For Tuesday yesterday. Oh, Happy Birthday Matt!

Once again our "Friend" who likes to murder people has found himself in trouble. Beside OJ and his lawyer, there is only one other person out there who thinks he is innocent. Too bad it's the guy in the background of this video. Little crazy ya think???

Tick Tock...

Now that we know who will be running for President, the clock is ticking on George W. So I thought I would get another great video of him in before his days are over. .. Now, although Andy Dick is a wacky, crazy and annoying person in real life, I thought this was a funny video.

What's The Deal With....

On Monday, I got one of my birthday gifts from Fran. It was tickets to go see Seinfeld perform at the WAMU Theater at MSG. He went on for 1 hour 15mins of all new material. Although illegal, I quickly took some video of the show. About 30 secs or so to give you a taste of the show. Why you might ask? Because I am dedicated to this blog and to entertain you all. Below that video I took is some Seinfeld stand up from David Letterman. Pretty funny stuff. If you like classic Seinfeld, below are 7 links to old school Seinfeld standup. Thirsty Thursday! Sports Bloopers

The "Happy Birthday To You" song has been around forever. Over the years others have tried to create new catchy songs like The Beatles, "Birthday" or Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday." Most of the time getting the fowards are annoying, but getting this one is worth it. The first video is all the work that Julian Beever has done. Then second one is how he does it.

Classic Corner!!!

This is the first of many "Classic Corner's" on this blog. On the first day of each month, I will present you with a classic video that most of you have seen. Today's is a great one.
